Building on a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of New Brunswick, I have continued my education each year through tax, investment, estate and insurance courses. Contributing to my community is important to me and I was pleased to receive the Nova Scotia Assante Branch Community Service Award in 2005. I had the privilege to serve as the Head Coach for the Saint Mary’s Huskies Soccer Team for 22 years and was proud to see my players produce 159 regular season wins, 7 AUS titles and 10 trips to National finals where the Huskies returned with 3 silver and 2 bronze medals. I have also been recognized by my peers as 6 time Atlantic University sport Coach of the year, and a 2 time CIS national coach of the year. After my retirement in 2014, I was awarded the extreme honour of being inducted into the Saint Mary’s University Sport Hall of Fame. Together with my wife Karla, I am the proud parent of two beautiful daughters, Grace & Anna, who provide daily reminders of what is truly important in life. My community service is now dedicated to the development of a new generation of athletes. I currently coach West End Steelers Basketball Girls Under 10, and Under 12.
